4月17日至24日，副市长段继阳率沈阳市友好经贸代表团赴日本、韩国访问，深入贯彻落实省市关于“深耕日韩”的工作部署，深化友城交流与经贸合作，全方位推介展示沈阳深厚的历史文化底蕴、扎实的产业基础、良好的区位优势、活跃的对外交往、优质的营商环境、广阔的投资合作前景以及当前向上向好、蓄势腾飞的发展态势，深化我市与日韩各界友好交往、加强各领域务实合作，推进我市高水平对外开放，取得丰硕成果，促成33个项目签约，签约额125亿元。
在日本期间，代表团举办了沈阳—日本产业合作座谈会暨“你好，沈阳”全球推介（东京站）活动，会见了日本自民党前干事长、沈阳市荣誉市民武部勤先生，川崎市市长福田纪彦、佐世保市市长宫岛大典，日本松下控股株式会社、东芝株式会社高层，出席了辽宁—日本经贸合作说明会，访问了川崎殿町国际战略基地、日本精工株式会社、爱志株式会社、丰田通商株式会社、罗森株式会社等重点园区、企业。
福田纪彦市长表示，今年是川崎市建市100周年，希望两市能以此为契机，进一步拓展在养老、文化、体育、旅游等多领域务实合作，互相支持举办大型活动，共同策划举办国际友城市长交流日活动，赓续传统友谊、实现共赢发展。
宫岛大典市长对我市为佐世保市近期举办的旅游推介活动所给予的大力支持表示感谢，希望继续加强与沈阳在经贸、旅游、文化、体育、养老等领域的务实合作，鼓励支持青少年、体育团组互访，创新开展青少年绘画展、青少年足球赛等友城交流品牌活动，推动两市友城关系再上新台阶。
段继阳副市长表示，沈阳与日本产业合作前景广阔、潜力巨大，希望进一步加大合作力度，丰富合作内涵，提升合作能级，在先进制造、科技创新、医疗康养、冰雪运动等领域深化务实合作，实现共赢发展。
在韩国期间，代表团举办了2024韩国—沈阳活动周暨“你好，沈阳”全球推介（首尔站）等系列活动，会见了仁川广域市副市长黄孝镇、城南市副市长李镇瓒、韩国国会议员朴钉和柳东秀、韩国保健产业振兴院高层，访问了仁川自由经济区、韩国新生活集团、人参公社、斗山集团等重点园区、企业，推动在谈项目落地，挖掘新项目资源。
黄孝镇副市长表示，今年是仁川广域市与沈阳市结好十周年，希望与沈阳市共同举办国际友城市长交流日、仁川广域市旅游推介会、仁川市优秀商品展等系列活动，进一步推动两市在经贸合作、产业对接、人文交流等领域取得更加丰硕的成果。沈北新区与仁川广域市西区签署了两区友好交流合作协议，全面加强经贸和民生领域合作。
李镇瓒副市长对2024韩国—沈阳活动周暨“你好，沈阳”全球推介（首尔站）活动成功举办给予高度评价，希望进一步深化两市在经贸、文化、人文等领域交流与合作。
韩国国会议员朴钉和柳东秀表示，将进一步发挥桥梁纽带作用，向更多的韩国商协会和企业家宣传沈阳、推介沈阳，继续努力促进沈阳与韩国更宽领域、更深层次、更高水平的友好交流合作。
段继阳副市长表示，沈阳与韩国地缘相近、人缘相亲、文缘相通、商缘相连，希望在先进制造业、新兴产业、现代服务业、文体旅融合发展等领域深化合作，持续提高合作能级，推动取得更多丰硕的合作成果。

From April 17th to 24th, Duan Jiyang, Vice Mayor of Shenyang, led a delegation of friendly economic and trade representatives from Shenyang to visit Japan and South Korea, deeply implementing the work deployment of Liaoning Province and Shenyang on "deepening cooperation with Japan and ROK", deepening sister city exchanges and economic and trade cooperation, comprehensively promoting and showcasing Shenyang's profound historical and cultural heritage, solid industrial foundation, good location advantages, active foreign exchanges, high-quality business environment, broad investment and cooperation prospects, and good development trends. During their stay in Japan, the delegation held an industrial cooperation symposium and "Hello, Shenyang" Global Promotion Event (Tokyo), met with Tsutomu Takebe, former Secretary General of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan and Honorary Citizen of Shenyang City, Mayor Norihiko Fukuda of Kawasaki and Mayor Daisuke Miyajima of Sasebo, as well as executives from Panasonic Holdings and Toshiba, attended an economic and trade cooperation briefing, and visited key institutions such as the Kawasaki King Sky Front, NSK Ltd., Earth Support, Toyota Tsusho Corporation, and Lawson Inc.
Mayor Norihiko Fukuda stated that this year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of Kawasaki City. He hoped that Shenyang and Kawasaki can take this opportunity to further expand practical cooperation in areas such as elderly care, culture, sports, and tourism, support each other in organizing large-scale events, and jointly plan the Mayor's Exchange Day in international sister cities to continue traditional friendship and achieve win-win development.
Mayor Daisuke Miyajima expressed gratitude for the strong support provided by Shenyang to the recent tourism promotion activities held in Sasebo City. He hoped to continue to strengthen practical cooperation with Shenyang in areas such as economy and trade, tourism, culture, sports, and elderly care, encourage and support mutual visits between youth and sports groups, innovate and carry out youth painting exhibitions, youth football matches and other sister city exchange brand activities, and promote the sister city relationship between the two cities to a new level.
Vice Mayor Duan Jiyang stated that the industrial cooperation between Shenyang and Japan has broad prospects and enormous potential. He hoped to further increase cooperation efforts, enrich cooperation content, improve cooperation level, deepen practical cooperation in advanced manufacturing, technological innovation, medical health, ice and snow sports and other fields, and achieve win-win development.
During their stay in South Korea, the delegation held a series of events including the 2024 Korea—Shenyang Activity Week and the "Hello, Shenyang" Global Promotion Event(Seoul). They met with Hwang Hyo jin, Vice Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City, Lee Jin chan, Vice Mayor of Seongnam City, Park Jeung and Yoo Dong soo, members of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, and executives from the South Korean Health Industry Development Institute. They also visited key institutions such as the Incheon Free Economic Zone, South Korean New Life Group, Korea Ginseng Corp, and Doosan to promote the implementation of ongoing projects and explore new project resources.
Vice Mayor Hwang Hyo jin, said that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of sister city relationship between Incheon Metropolitan City and Shenyang City. He hoped to jointly hold a series of activities with Shenyang, such as the International Friendship City Mayors Exchange Day, the Incheon Metropolitan City Tourism Promotion Conference, and the Incheon Excellent Commodities Exhibition, to further promote the two cities to achieve more fruitful results in economic and trade cooperation, industrial connection, cultural exchanges and other fields. Shenbei District and the West District of Incheon Metropolitan City signed a friendly exchange and cooperation agreement to comprehensively strengthen cooperation in the fields of economy, trade and people's livelihood.
Vice Mayor Lee Jin chan highly praised the successful holding of the 2024 Korea-Shenyang Week and the "Hello, Shenyang" Global Promotion Event(Seoul), and hoped to further deepen the exchanges and cooperation between the two cities in the fields of economy, trade, culture, and people to people exchanges.
Park Jeung and Yoo Dong soo, members of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, stated that they would further play the role of bridge and link, promote Shenyang and introduce Shenyang to more Korean business associations and entrepreneurs, and continue to work hard to promote friendly exchanges and cooperation between Shenyang and South Korea in a wider range, deeper and higher level.
Vice Mayor Duan Jiyang expressed that Shenyang and South Korea are geographically close, culturally close, and commercially connected. He hoped to deepen cooperation in advanced manufacturing, emerging industries, modern service industries, and the integration of culture, sports, and tourism, and to continuously improve the level of cooperation and promote more fruitful cooperation results.
This visit is an important measure for Shenyang to actively serve the overall diplomacy of the country and promote high-level opening up to the outside world. It has continuously improved the reputation and influence of Shenyang in Japan and South Korea, further expanded the channels of exchanges and cooperation with Japan and South Korea, and opened up a new situation of higher level, wider field and deeper integration of exchanges and cooperation between Shenyang and Japan and South Korea.
